Possible Clues:

• Discussing work outside of work, e.g
• Discussing the job with colleagues, and what the last words of the answers to starred clues seem to be doing
• Discussing business -- there's pounds to be had in money received on short flight
• Parliament perhaps?
• Discussing business - but nothing is ever decided in it
• Useless committee discussing business after hours
