Possible Clues:

• Faulty
• Flawed
• Unsound female arrested by copper wasting time
• Faulty iron, evicted, thrown outside
• Copper getting fellow in to replace loss of temperature -- it's not working properly
• In bungee jump, perhaps, bouncing a hundred feet is insufficient
• Drunk I've fed, etc is not working
