• With a short fuse
• Cross made in ornate style
• Showing irritation, note written with a pen
• Perhaps trying to be bad-tempered
• Irascible if leaving to give evidence
• Try ending in fairway - and make it snappy
• Short-fused
• Cross river, heading for Yorkshire
• Easily annoyed if left to give evidence
• Irritable and impatient, e.g.
