Possible Clues:

• The Ts are after being new
• Certain salamanders
• Small creatures turning in the most fearless way
• Young 12-Downs
• Get a short foot into the T's that are new (4)
• New T's would not be right after half a century
• New Ts would not be right after half a century
• Lizards, old-style
• They wouldn't come right in the water after half a century
• E's about one foot in the water with them
