• Hunter with a distinctive cry
• It doesn't give a hoot!
• Eg, Tyto alba; howls recce (anag.)
• Bird beginning to seek food in fish basket
• Bird about to wail trapped under loose rock
• Bird finds small dog in basket
• Under loose stones dog found tail of nocturnal bird
• Dog caught in lobster trap after son gets the bird
